But the quest for “faster” hypersonic flight has never relented although at a slower pace. Even planning for further exploration of the universe\, the ambition to reduce distances on our globe remains. Confidence is building on the ability to overcome current limitations to achieve a sustained trans-atmospheric hypersonic flight\, both for reducing antipodal flight time on earth as well as space activity costs.
